Milestone for AI Innovation: neuland.ai Gains Access to the HPC Infrastructure of RWTH Aachen University through the AI Service Center WestAI
Cologne, December 18, 2025 – neuland.ai, a leading AI technology company, has been selected by the AI Service Center WestAI for the use of 10,000 hours of GPU computing on one of Europe's most powerful academic high-performance computing infrastructures.
The research resources are now available to the company free of charge and represent an important milestone in strengthening Europe's technological sovereignty. They provide neuland.ai with the opportunity to elevate its research and development efforts to a new level, specifically advancing AI "Made in Germany" for medium-sized businesses and large companies.
“Receiving the award for access to one of the world's most advanced supercomputing infrastructures is a real accolade for neuland.ai. This recognition is evidence of our commitment to connecting artificial intelligence with technological progress in order to efficiently, practically, and sustainably solve complex industrial challenges.”
Yunus Uyargil, CTO of the company
As a German company, neuland.ai develops AI technology specifically for the needs of German medium-sized businesses and leading companies in regulated and knowledge-intensive fields. Access to the cluster infrastructure of RWTH Aachen University presents an enormous technological advantage. With 15 computing nodes, each equipped with four NVIDIA H100 GPUs, the infrastructure provides a hardware base optimized for high-intensity AI computations.
These technical resources allow neuland.ai to implement groundbreaking research projects while also developing solutions that are directly tailored to the demanding needs of German companies.
“Our research is consistently oriented towards the real challenges and complex problems faced by companies in highly regulated and knowledge-intensive industries. neuland.ai connects research, product development, and implementation to actively accompany companies on their path to becoming AI-first organizations.”
Yunus Uyargil, CTO of the company
With the resources obtained, neuland.ai also accelerates its research work on enterprise reasoning systems that are reliable and verifiable. These systems offer companies the opportunity to manage complex decision-making processes automatically and securely, and already form the basis for many solutions that our clients successfully use every day. Through access to the HPC infrastructure, these core technologies can be further strengthened and expanded.
This award once again highlights the important role of neuland.ai as a bridge between leading German research and industry. The HPC access not only enhances the company’s innovative strength but also its strategic independence. Utilizing European infrastructure reduces dependence on non-European providers and allows critical AI technologies to be retained and further developed within Europe. This underscores the company's research focus on creating technologies that are practical and economically relevant.
“The neuland.ai HUB is not just a simple AI platform but a fully-fledged orchestration and management ecosystem,” says Yunus Uyargil. “It empowers companies to integrate AI safely, efficiently, and scalably into their organizations. This way, our neuland.ai clients have the opportunity to secure their digital competitiveness in the long term.”
“For anyone with an idea for an AI project but lacking AI hardware or experience, we are the right contact.”
Prof. Dr. Matthias Müller, Area Manager Hardware at WestAI and Director of the IT Center at RWTH Aachen.
For training large AI models, interested parties – with or without additional support from WestAI – can access the high-performance computers of RWTH Aachen and the Forschungszentrum Jülich. “With this, we provide companies and researchers with AI infrastructure that is otherwise only available to large corporations. Through our user-friendly JupyterHub interface, even AI newcomers can relatively easily work with the system,” says Müller.
